Wharfedale has loaded their SW series subwoofers to help boost their performance. Non-pressed paper cones improve transient response, letting the detail of impactful sounds come through clearly while improving self-damping and the structural rigidity of the speaker cone at once.

Copper-lined vents

Copper-lined vents help to reduce magnetic distortion and optimise heat dissipation, ensuring that the SW-12 can deliver its sound for a long time to come.

High-end power amplifiers

Utilising high-end power amplifiers, the SW-12’s sound signature is optimised for low frequencies in hi-fi music listening and home cinema applications alike. With glossy White Sandex and Blackwood Vinyl finishes the SW-12 pairs incredibly well with matching floorstanding speakers, like Wharfedale’s Diamond series.
