The PB4000 delivers clarity, musicality and power far beyond its size and price range. Thanks to the clean, efficient power on offer from its DSP amplifier, and its unique driver design, you get incredible transient response that shines on percussive material. Plus, the low-frequency extension delivered by its incredible compact drivers and triple-ported design gives you thick, low-end that brings out the elusive punch you want to hear in all of your favourite tracks.

Stunning Low-End

The PB4000 features a powerful 13.5-inch high-excursion SVS driver that offers incredible output power for its size, and deep low-frequency extension. Its aluminium vented cone provides efficient movement whilst remaining sturdy, ensuring excellent transient response. The power of a dual ferrite magnet motor drives the cone, allowing this subwoofer’s frequency response to surpass the limits of human hearing, for great clarity and power. A cabinet with a triple-ported front helps extend its frequency response to an incredibly low 16 Hz.

Sledge Amplifier

This subwoofer receives power from the Sledge STA-1200D amplifier to really get the most of your driver. Class D efficiency combined with a discrete MOSFET output stage, your sound is capable of reaching high sound pressure levels precisely and cleanly. DSP from Analog Devices add options for advanced room tuning, optimising frequency response, and other control options to achieve the very best sound quality you can. The addition of Active Power Factor Correction and ground loop isolation help further improve the transparency of its sound. Conditioning power, protecting against surges and removing electrical noise or fluctuating voltage reduces noise floor to an absolute minimum. The addition of three port tuning modes helps you further customise your sounds to achieve balanced, accurate sound.

Groundbreaking smartphone app works with Apple iOS® and Android® devices to unleash the full depth, force and nuance of the PB4000 powered subwoofer by controlling all DSP functions including: volume, parametric EQ, low pass filter, phase, polarity, room gain, port tuning, custom presets and system settings.
