ZAC is the abbreviation for Zero Attenuation Concept which means that nowhere in the cable will the light encounter any obstacles distorting or suppressing the signal. This means that the cable can carry the optical signal over longer distances without degradation.

When manufacturing optical interconnects, the quality of the fibre and tip polishing is the most important issue. We use a Japanese plastic fibre providing strength and flexibility, but require also a very thorough polishing process with an innovative fibre tip curving cancelling divergence losses.
