Bluetooth implementation

Standard Bluetooth components use a SOC (System On a Chip) design but iFi opts for a combination of elements that are tasked with different jobs to ensure the highest quality from each stage. A Qualcomm chip draws the raw Bluetooth signal which then feeds it to a Sabre DAC chip that uses a time-domain jitter eliminator, discrete oscillator and 112dB dynamic range to convert the signal to analogue. This delivers the highest resolution audio possible so you can enjoy your favourite tracks the way the artist intended

Flexible formats

The Zen Air Blue supports all current Bluetooth stereo codecs. This includes SBC – standard Bluetooth used by most audio devices, aptX – better than SBC, widely used, found in Android devices, AAC – better than SBC, widely used, found in Apple devices, aptX HD, aptxLL and aptX Adaptive – variations on an improved aptX, LDAC – extremely high quality, designed by Sony and LHDC – extremely high quality, designed by Huawei. This means you’re covered no matter your choice of device or operating system.
