Stalwart Bass

As the smallest of the B&W 600 Series subwoofers, the ASW608 might be considered the plucky younger sibling of the bunch. With no cabinet dimension exceeding 30.5cm and an eight-inch paper / Aramid fibre cone drive unit, this subwoofer is a great choice for small-medium HiFi systems where depth is lacking. The long-throw design of the driver diffuses sound into your listening environment more directly and, in combination with the robust sealed cabinet, is capable of an accurate, punchy low-end frequency extension.

200W Amplification

For a forward-facing subwoofer, the low-mass materials used in its driver construction react responsively to the integrated 200W Class D amplifier. This high-efficiency amp performance maintains an S/N ratio of >90dB, whilst also making the most of the minimal space inside the sealed enclosure. Operations are smooth and cool with the ASW608 and ensure consistent impact whenever the intensity of music or film kicks in. This subwoofer is a step up for smaller rooms or space-efficient sound systems, adding veracity to bass.

Optional Calibration

The ASW608 shares the highly configurable control panel of the larger models in the 600 Series, setting it apart from other subwoofers at its price point. Aside from standard volume and low-pass frequency dials, you will also find bass extension, 180° phase and EQ, letting you introduce audio filters to optimise performance for different locations in your room. Fine-tune the ASW608 to your liking. This panel also features both Line Level and Speaker Level cable connections and is compatible with amplifiers old and new.
