Innovative design

Austrian Audio have put a lot of research into deciding on the optimum size for the HI-X headphone driver being 44mm. This design allows a lot of air to move whilst simultaneously preventing wobbling of the diaphragm. The driver also features a ring magnet system, which is utilised across many of Austrian Audio’s award-winning headphones. The ring magnet design is coupled with a copper-clad aluminium vocal coil to reducing the weight of the HI-X55’s.
