Full Description
Audiolab 7000A Stereo Amplifier
Class AB power
The 7000A has a discrete Class AB power amp stage which delivers 70W per channel into eight ohms, and for difficult loads a maximum current delivery of 9A amps. Superior linearity and excellent thermal stability are ensured with the output stage of the discrete power amp circuits using a CFB topology. And the amp stays in firm control of the music with excellent dynamic range, helped by the 250VA toroidal transformer and the 4x15000uF reservoir capacity.
Multiple Sources
Cover all bases with high quality for all. For CD players and line-level sources, you have dual analog inputs, for digital sources dual Coax and SPDIF inputs, and for wireless audio playback and smart devices, you have a Bluetooth aptX receiver. Plus, the Audio Return Channel (ARC) connection allows for use with screens, and there is a direct-to-PC connection via USB.
Cutting-edge DAC
The 7000A’s ESS ES9038Q2M chip reaffirms the integration and synergy standard with Audiolab integrated amplifiers. It utilises both 32–bit HyperStream architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator from ESS Technology. Plus, it has ultra-low noise and high dynamic range thanks to a post-DAC filter based on class A topology and its proprietary DC-coupled high-gain electronic amp.

Audiolab 7000CDT CD Transport
Enhanced Digital Playback
The 7000CDT uses an accurate optical system with electronic buffering for smooth, high-quality CD playback to reduce artifacts. Its read-ahead buffer also helps to prevent reading failures, and anticipate issues such as scratches to prevent them from interrupting your listening experience. This CD Transport’s coaxial output is fed by a differential line driver to prevent noise before reaching the DAC. The CDT’s master clock is controlled by a highly-accurate crystal oscillator that eliminates jitter for a distortion-free signal.
Vibration Prevention
This CD transport utilises a range of design techniques to prevent transferring vibrations through your desk or to other units stacked with it. Its loading tray features a low-friction design to reduce vibrations at the source of the disc drive itself, preventing the high-velocity motor from interfering with the sound quality. The 7000CDT’s electromagnetically shielded aluminium enclosure and dedicated power supply help reduce resonance and noise even further.
Digital Playback Hub
While capable of playing back CDs, the 7000CDT also provides USB connectivity to play back from external drives or memory sticks. When used in this way, the 7000CDT is compatible with all major lossless digital audio formats, like WAV, AAC, and WMA, as well as compressed legacy MP3 files.
