Nothing is more annoying than when you’re listening to your favourite playlists, or even listening to unmastered tracks of your own that interrupt the immersion and flow between songs. This is often the case when listening to tracks from different time periods as loudness levels and modern formats dictate different levels to when digital formats and streaming services were non-existent. Well, Astell & Kern have come to enhance your listening experience and have included ReplayGain on the ACRO CA1000. It automatically adjusts sound sources with different volumes to one level so you can enjoy seamless hi-res audio on all your tracks.

Bespoke design – handcrafted in Japan

The ACRO CA1000 builds on what makes Astell & Kern’s Hi-Fi products so popular and this includes its design. All components of the player are meticulously sourced and carefully united by experienced engineers in Japan. The angled bezel of the screen exhibits the impression of a smaller rectangle floating freely into the chassis whilst the wheel on the side is stylishly patterned, giving a highly premium feel to the ACRO CA1000. It also features Astell & Kern’s silver-plated shield can, which negates outside interference and reduces noise ensuring excellent audio performance.

BT Sink

Astell & Kern endeavour to make the user experience as trouble-free as possible, removing any worries allowing you to enjoy your music the way the recording engineer and producer intended. To this aim, they have included a brand new function known as BT Sink to the ACRO CA1000 which enables you to connect your speaker to an external device allowing you to enjoy your high-quality audio on any device. Being a two-way function you can even connect a device like a smartphone to your ACRO CA1000 and playback in high quality.
