Tweeter

The bespoke 25mm soft dome tweeter is designed by Acoustic Energy to work hand in hand with the 100 series bass driver – with optimum integration and tonal matching. This is combined with a Wide Dispersion Technology waveguide, making the crossover region between drivers audibly seamless, and the high-power neodymium motor assembly delivers distortion-free high-volume playback.

Drivers

The 100 series uses a 130mm bass/mid driver, developed using high power, a long excursion motor for great volume levels, and great bass extension. And with a doped paper cone, it enables a higher crossover point that allows for smoother mid-range and a seamless crossover with the tweeter – so all sound reproduction is high fidelity, detailed and musical.

Cabinet

The thin, 15mm high-density (HDF) enclosure has precisely tuned bracing, so harmful resonances are reduced while the body and substance are maintained. Smooth bass extension is enhanced with the rear slot porting, while inert mass-loading provides additional stability and acoustic damping.
